I sometimes get an urge to point a camera at things.
It's funny how carrying a camera makes you view the world differently. More "in it".

Strange. I always feel like I am missing out on the real thing when I am looking at it through a lens.
that's not inconsistent with what i said. it's different, both ways. and if you're "in it", you're often not getting "all of it"... which one might take to be a better representation of "the real thing".
i like the way a camera makes you focus. no accident -- that particular word.
