Ohio once more

Let's impeach the president. Shock and Awe. Lookin' for a Leader.

Neil Young has come out with Living With War, a scathing new album. Listen online here.

Trust Mr Young to come back out of the woodwork now - I'm sure "Four Dead in Ohio" could still be relevant with a few minor tweaks to make it current.

tag tag. curious as to what professors fancy :P

copy pasting requirements:

You’ve been tagged (don’t blame me, I didn’t start this!). And as a ‘tag victim’, you are supposed to do the following:

1. Come up with 8 different points of your perfect lover.
2. Mention the sex of the target.
3. Tag 8 victims to join this game and leave a comment on their comments saying they’ve been tagged.
4. If tagged the 2nd time, there’s no need to post again

I was a little disappointed with his "let's roll" song in '01. I wondered if the anti-war pendulum had just completely stopped swinging. Thankfully, "ol' Neil" is still the political rocker. (His "revolution blues" came up on the iPod yesterday. Ah. There's an angry tune.)

BTW, Young's releases remind me of John Lennon's professed goal of releasing records like a daily newspaper.

confession time -- i've actually heard very very little of neil young post-csny, and not tracked his career at all. i watched the red rocks dvd once and was v taken by his energy. i love him on the last waltz, but a big part of that is due to joni. i'm just glad that such a major figure has taken such a strong stance (he said it took him so long because he was "waiting for someone younger, 18-22, to do so").
