Nah nah Nassputin

Separated at birth vol. 2.

(Vol. 1. here.)

Remember when Putin was compared to Dobby (from Harry Potter)? Made headlines back in '03.

(But the Japanese PM does Elvis impersonations and therefore deserves all the votes in Japan.)

Naaah! Separated at birth, with the birth being separated by a continent is more like it :-) Cousins, maybe :-)

actually i don't, but i'm thankful they didn't extend the analogy to nass. (miniaturized impersonations?)

i thought along those lines but then i realised if i wantde to get truly realistic i'd have to account for the age difference, and so i toyed with a "russia's famous love machine hits chennai" line, then decided it wouldn't be very pleasant of me :-)

The swashbuckler from Essex and the dark lord of the KGB? Being seperated at birth would make for a heck of an action novel.
I can see the resemblance, but it's a bit of a stretch. Perhaps it's just the personalities that are such opposites.

the question is -- which year?

well the one thing in common is broken fingers, right? (btw, i thought that these photos weren't that convincing either, but s's first reaction on seeing the post was: "so it's two photos of putin, so what?" :-)
