all (esp space bar): see how deceptive appearances can get?
??!, sp, km, szerelem: thanks :-) sitting in the car waiting for the windows to defrost doesn't have to be all down time. i took this snap with my cell phone, and then realized that i had my camera with me as well. wonder how those pix will look.
szerelem: de gustibus non est disputandum :-D
lekhni: so they say :-| not completely - only about 6-8 inches - but enough to ensure i can't make the trip i'd planned.
szerelem: btw, sitting in the car the same day, i'd taken a few other pictures with my real (not phone) camera. i saw those today and they have - no surprises - better definition. want me to post those as well? (they look much the same as this one otherwise.)
tgfi: no no no no! this is the whole point about appearances. see the two brownish strips of sidewalk, at right angles to each other? those constitute some fifteen solid minutes of work - early in the morning with temperatures in single degrees fahrenheit and wind at 20+ mph - after which i have to dig the car out and sit in it for another ten-odd minutes waiting for the windows to thaw. work *that* into your schedule. (but thanks anyway :-)
oh, the snowflakes are so lovely!! Though I still really like the cell phone pic - the colours are more muted even though the camera pics are much better resolution wise.

Pwetty.
lovely! this is why snow looks driven and pure.
Beautiful. Reminds me of a shot from a Douglas Sirk film.
this is gorgeous!! I think my favourite picture of all takenby you...
So you are going to be snowed in this weekend?

"there's no arguing with taste."
Yes, especially not with mine.
oh no. the only thing scarier than an argumentative turk is an argumentative wannabe turk :-D
Yes, exactly :D
lovely! you owe snow an apology for that earlier post. :-)
